Forget what are the must haves for Fall 09, the iPhone is the hottest and the new must-have accessory in the fashion and retail world. Shoppers seen browsing fashion on iPhones.

Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Sears, and other retail companies are rolling out applications for the iPhone, from shopping to search. If the trend continues, expect shopping via iPhone to be the norm by Christmas 2010.

So ladies, are you embracing this trend? I think its a great ideas but online clothes shopping is something that most of us don’t do. I think the iPhone can be a great tool to browse for clothes online and compare shops while walking around in the mall!

I would imagine most people will browsing on the iPhone at the beginning and completing their purchase at home on the retailers sites! But there will be a day when you will be able to do everything on the iPhone. In terms of shopping on the iPhone by next Christmas I don’t think so.

What do you gals think?

Hitting the mark on your daughter’s wedding day can be difficult, and sometimes stressful. Follow my fashion advice/style tips and you are set for a fabulous wedding!

Most MOB dress too dowdy and cling to all of the old rules and younger MOB dress too sexy and try to compete with their daughters.

I think you should always look age-appropriate yet modern and chic!

I recommend avoiding the suit, mother of the bride lady suits are out! Even if it is made of diamonds or rhinestones. Instead, wear a dress that allows you to shine and complete your daughter! However, do not wear mid-calf dresses they draw too much attention to your calves with is the thickest part of a woman’s leg!

Don’t wear the same color, style, fabric or dress that the bridesmaids are wearing! You are the mother of the bride and you must stand alone to complete the wedding party!

It is okay to wear a short mother of the bride dresses, just keep it tasteful!

I hate it when celebrities launch their own fashion wear lines. Beside, these celebrities are in it for the money! They license their name to a fashion company knowing their fans will want to buy it!

I haven’t liked nor supported any of the existing celebrity fashion wear lines.

Till now, the fabulous Gwyneth Paltrow teamed up with Zoe Tee’s to create a seven look collection! It will be a mélange of Seventies glamor, rock inspiration and men’s casual suiting. A second collection is slated for spring 2010.

And best of all Ms.Paltrow will donate all proceeds generated from this collection to Kids Company, a non-profit organization!

How awesome is that to use your fame to improve the lives of others! Do you agree? Let us know by leaving a comment!

  1. For cool skin complexions with an undertone of blue, consider deeper hues like burgundy, brown, or purple that lean towards blue or gray.
  2. For warm  skin complexions, nothing complements peach or gold undertones like gold, pink and tortoise hues.
  3. Translucent frames are always safe for all skin tones.

Tips:

  1. Light hues disguise a large forehead and dark hues slim a full face.

Here are fashion tips on finding the flattering width for your body: belts shift the shape of your body, creating feminine curves.

Skinny (under 1 inch): The shorter your torso, the narrower your belt should be. That way it doesn’t dominate your entire midsection.

Style tips: A vibrant color like yellow looks great on a white dress!

Medium (1-2 inches): This width works for all body types, especially women with a short torso who wants the look of a wide belt without corset like coverage.

Hello ladies! Not sure what to wear for the holidays? Here are the top 10 fashion tips for holiday dressing!

  • First and foremost, a tank dress with an A-line skirt is a universally flattering silhouette, regardless of body type. It is particularly flattering for a bustier body type, as it allows for a thicker-strap supportive bra.
  • When wearing black and white for evening, try clear jewelry. Clear stones are eternally chic; they don’t compete with the bold contrast of black and white.
  • Love that sleeveless dress, but feel self-conscious about showing your upper arms? Style tips: add wrap or a bolero but make sure it doesn’t compete with the pattern of the dress.
  • A pointy-toe shoe with a kitten heel is perfect with any hem length. Metallic shoes are a must-have in every closet for evening, but don’t be afraid to wear them during the day.
  • A beautiful color is a wonderful option for cocktail hour rather than the ubiquitous black. If you have pale skin, go with lighter colors; darker skin, go with brighter.

  • When trying to detract from the midsection, think about wearing your hair up for the evening. Add some chandelier earrings to lengthen your neckline.
  • Chic clothing is about mixing textures for a sophisticated evening look. If you are wearing a dress with a sheen, put on a flat wrap or coat. Choose a dress with no sheen and top it with a metallic brocade coat or one with sparkly embellishment.
  • While trends come and go, black never goes out of style. You can always pair a black dress with a brilliantly colored pair of shoes or a bright color bag. But sometimes just black looks perfect.
  • Embellishment (beading, sequins, rhinestones) on clothing has been very popular the last few seasons. I feel a couple of decorated pieces for evening are a staple of any woman’s wardrobe. They’re always useful for a little “bling” and quite often negate the necessity for additional jewelry.
  • Only have a few pieces you like to wear for evening. Make sure they fit as well as possible. Then change them up with fun accessories, such as shawls, wraps, vintage costume jewelry and fabulous shoes!

Inverted Triangle Shape: A banded bottom hem draw eyes to the décolleté instead of the shoulders.

Rectangle Shape: A wrap style top is a graceful and feminine way to add curves to a boyish shape.

Fashion Tip: If you aim for a loose silhouette regardless of your body type, then I recommend adding a belt for some shaPe shifting!

Fashion Tip: Don’t buy clothes just because you like them, only buy clothes that flatter your shape and that showcase YOU and your Confidence!

Thinking of going commando ladies? Its true sometimes certain outfits require you to do so,  panty lines are a BIG no, no, no!!! Commando style is not wearing any underwear, and it’s not very lady like.

Likely, there is a solution to cammando. Its the  low rise thong, its like not wear nothing at all. It’s like a second skin, silky smooth, invisible and comfortable. You got to try it and see for your self!

Most bridesmaid dresses don’t see the light of day again after the wedding. Ladies, bridesmaids dress don’t have to be ugly and unwearable. Your bridesmaids have the right to look good too, you are the masterpiece of your wedding and your bridesmaids should complete you!

Unique You!

Presenting a positive self image correlates to being attractively groomed and dressed in your authentic personal style and color. If you are trying to lose weight, your silhouette changes and your self esteem increases. Your wardrobe will need to be adjusted to conform to the new You!

Your personal style and color tells the world how you feel about yourself and how you feel about life. Choose clothing that really represents the person you are, or most importantly who you want to become. Become the person that you want to attract in your life. A well-coordinated closet will help you do this!

Clean out your closet, discard anything that you have not worn in 2 years. Auditing your closet will allow you to move forward to the new you! Make sure the styles and colors that are left are supportive of your positive image.

First, start by organizing the items in your closet by placing them systemically into similar groups: Blouses or shirts, jackets, slacks, skirts, or dresses. Dressy and casual blouses, for instance, should be put together by similar colors, lightest to darkest. Suits should be separated by skirts, jackets and slacks. Many combination’s will then become more obvious.

Every time you walk into a well-coordinated closet to get dressed, you will feel like you are creating a work of art. This will create the unique you who is unlike anyone else.

The science of sexy: fashion tips is knowing what flatters your body and focusing on your assets to bring out the best of you! Here are the four body shapes and what kind of dress flatter them!

Hourglass Shape:
Your shoulders and hips are around the same size, and you have a well defined waist. The hourglass shape is very envy shape by women and adore by men. The key is to wear pieces that hug your curves. Be grateful, you were well blessed; here are some ideas to showcase your hourglass figure!

Pear Shape:
Also known as the triangle shape: your hips are wider than your shoulders. The key is to balance out wider hips with your other sexy assets!

V Shape:
Also known as the inverted triangle: your shoulders or bust are larger than your hips. It’s essential to fill out your lower half for a balance sexy look!

Rectangle Shape:
Your shoulders, bust, and hips are similar in size, and your lack a defined waistline. Don’t feel that you have a boyish shape; the key is to create feminine curves!

Ladies let me know if this was helpful, next time on the science of sexy fashion tips I will present to you what kind of tops flatter your figure!

Confident Woman!

As a bridal consultant I came to realize that many women suffer of low self esteem. And that low self esteem shows everywhere even in their fashion.

I believe that there is no ugly women, only unconfident women. The key to becoming a confident woman and feel good within your skin, I recommend the following tips.

Focus On Assets:
Coco Chanel said it best: “fashion is architecture; it’s a matter of proportions.” In other words, minimize the negative, no matter which part of your body you find objectionable, there is always a clever way to divert the eye else where.

The key is to use fashion to your advantage to give you the look you want. Remember vertical lines elongate your body, horizontals lines widen, and diagonal lines are slimming, employ them as necessary.

Get Naked:
As a bridal consultant I came across many women who were so self conscious about their bodies that they’re reluctant to be naked around their husbands. That discomfort affected how they feel when dressed too.

Before you can move as if you own the room, you must be at ease inside your own skin! Feeling comfortable with your body alone is the first step to feeling comfortable with your body around others with presence and poise!

To help you feel comfortable in your own skin I recommend: take a bath with lights on-no candles. After the bath either naked or in lingerie stand on front of the mirror and just look and appreciate your body as is! The more you do it the more at ease you feel and your self esteem goes up!

Clean out your closet:
Whether you’re holding on to clothes that are too small because you hope you’ll fit into them someday, or clothes that are too big for fear you’ll grow back into them, you’re keeping past in the present. Stop living the past, you can’t change-its gone, live the present and look into the future!

These clothes reinforce what you used to look like! Get rid of anything you have not worn in two years and replace it with something new that makes you feel and look beautiful!!!
